this post deals with a delicate subject but i think it's important that i share my experience with this problem. the more people know about this, the more can get properly diagnosed and get the help they need to overcome this problem, like i did. this problem had me depressed quite a lot in the past few years and i want to help others get through it if i can. be aware that this post deals with a sex-related subject and if it offends you i suggest you don't read it.

my background-story, specifications and treatments, surgery )

current situation )

this is, i hope, pretty much everything i've been through to heal and take care of this problem. down here is what i've written, in details, about the surgery and the healing process. i've been asked by other women how it went and i tried to answer their questions as best i could.

like i said higher up, it's still a new medicine field, and doctors need all the feedback they need on this. maybe you have this problem. maybe your cause is muscular, nervous, or psychological. bring this up with your doctor. maybe they won't know about it, maybe they will. bring some documentation too if you think it could help the doctor to help you. if you think you might have this problem, don't be afraid to talk to your doctor/gyno about this.

i have to say i feel a bit uneasy about sharing such a personal aspect of my life so publicly. however, i feel it is for a greater good. comments are screened, in case other would like to share their experience without being seen, or in case a wise-ass would approach this problem without tact.

this post was written on january 11th, 2007, despite the date saying it is april 11th, 2020 ;)
